We travelled to Tucson, Arizona in febuary and had a great time in the desert.

I had worked at the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum and we always had displays at several shows a year. We always had a display at the Tucson show which is considered the biggest show in the US. Feburary is not a bad time to be in Arizona when you live in Northern Michigan. Here is a picture of Stan Dyl the current Director of the Museum with the Michigan Tech display at the show. We took a day trip to Bisbee, AZ. It was a big mining town in the late 1800's and early 1900's. There are many mineral specimens from Bisbee in museums all around the world. Click on the image to see more.
